RSVP so that we know you are attending! Head to bit.ly/Lotus30 to RSVP. This year, the Lotus Education & Arts Foundation celebrates 30 years of transformative music and arts experiences, hard work, and life-long human connections. In honor of the occasion, Lotus has developed the Lotus@30 project.
A great way for community members to engage in the Lotus@30 Project is to attend the upcoming Lotus@30 Screening Party. This event will take place on Friday, May 24 from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M., at the University Collections at McCalla (525 N Indiana Ave, Bloomington, IN 47408). The event is FREE and open to the public.
The Lotus@30 Screening Party will begin with a screening of rarely seen footage pulled from the Bloomington Community Access Television Services (CATS) archive including festival footage of fan-favorite artists, old festival venues, and footage from the early years of Lotus Blossoms.
Afterward, attendees will have an opportunity to engage with one another, share stories, enjoy light snacks, and record their memories in StoryCorps-like fashion for the Lotus archive.
