A 30 minute hike through the 2003 burn zone with stops to learn about native plants and local geology. Then right into the water to see what we can catch, so wear shorts or pants you can roll up. Boots optional; most choose to go barefoot.
With a garter snake hibernaculum in the hills above, there are sure to be lots of snakes, but we might also see frogs, insects, water birds, and more!
Be sure to bring water, a snack, good hiking shoes, and a camera to capture the fantastic memories.
