The Lost City of Z is based on the incredible story of Percy Fawcett, a British explorer intent on finding the remains of an ancient city in the Amazon. Supported by his devoted wife, son, and aide de camp, Fawcett returns time and again to the jungle to continue his search but mysteriously disappears there in 1925.
