Loscil marks the release of Umbel with a series of deep listening sessions in 4DSOUND at Lobe on May 31 and June 1.Umbel is third in a series of image/music projects by loscil, presented as a full colour zine of photographs with an accompanying CD and download link of music.
This project follows previous releases Faults, Coasts, Lines and Lux: Refractions, combining photography and long form electronic music. For each of the four sessions at Lobe, the album will be presented in spatial audio as a continuous mix.
As a celebration of the release of this new work, hardcopies of the Umbel zine and CD will be available to purchased at these events.
