Hey Los Osos and our surrounding friends! I’ve decided to take steps to create a citywide community yard sale like our neighbors in Morro Bay and Atascadero do each year! I’d suggested in a past discussion in Support Los Osos group doing ours in early October, as a sort of chance to clear out stuff before the holidays come around, to make room for all the new “stuff”! I also love that it would maybe encourage second hand gifts for the holidays!
In this way we also won’t be competing for visitors to our city wide sale like we would be if we also did it in March or April. Instead of Spring Cleaning we can do a Fall Purge and end up with xtra cash for the holiday season!
Please do not RSVP UNLESS you’re planning on hosting a sale this weekend. That way I can reach out to all who RSVP and get your street address, which I will then include in a post nearer to the date, so that those wanting to shop can see all (or most of) the participating addresses!
If you have any suggestions or questions, shoot me a message or comment in this event page. If this is well received with lots of participants, I will make sure our local Chamber and/or Kiwanis is aware of it so that the word gets out to the community, other than just this event page and the Los Osos FB groups.
