Everyone's favourite Improvisational Slam Jam Duo of Latin guitar with West African Djembe...and special guests!Your hosts for the night and the spice of any party, Los Jestos bring the third in their instalment of Slam Jams at the Sound Lounge...and they're getting out the piano for this one!
Expect a whole new set of songs for your delight and their impros will be as hot as you set the gas! The Jesters will weave together whatever song you request of them. Trust me, they’ve done it all so bring your most embarrassing or comical ideas and they’ll make something peachy with gusto. Expect rock, pop, folk, Latin, reggaeton, pretty much anything you throw at them.
It will be a night to remember, and a night to forget!
Los Jestos will be joined by:
Emyr Thomas: Never failing to bring an energetic and soulful performance, Emyr Thomas plays a set filled with Rock/pop/country/indie hits from across the years. Emyr also has a growing repertoire of original songs that I am sure he will bring to the Slam Jam in March!
Zac Sampson Regal: Zac is an up and coming singer and song writer recently signed on a songwriting deal. His songs are written with beautiful sentiment with folky undertones over catchy pop lyrics. Our first returning artist at the Los Jestos Slam Jam. He opened up the debut Los Jestos Slam Jam.
Laurence Pendrous: Laurence is an excellent classical pianist and will bring a new and classy taste of music to the Sound Lounge. We can’t wait to bring a completely new flavour to the evening with a mix of classical music with some clever pianist quips.
Lottie Jade: Lottie is a South London raised artist creating soulful, feel good music. A BRIT School alumna, she writes her own songs, drawing from real experiences and emotions. Her music explores growth, self-worth, vulnerability, and healing, all delivered through smooth vocals and honest storytelling. Influenced by artists like Sade , she brings warmth and authenticity to every performance. Today she is here to share some of her original music from her latest EP “Almost Grown”.
