Descripción del Curso: A historical and technical overview of the way that overland transport between Cayey and Guayama was built and maintained during the 19th century. In its final iteration - Road 4, now numbered State Road 15 - the project, built between 1887 and 1897, was a full infrastructure undertaking with roadbeds, bridges, culverts, markers and four roadkeepers' houses. The integrity of the road remains to this day; and as a historic asset it is worthy of preservation. The heritage implications of this road, and community participation in conservation efforts, are assessed and discussed.Fecha: miércoles 17 de mayo de 2023
