Los Angeles Zoo T1D Family Day

We are excited to announce that Camp Conrad Chinnock is partnering with BreakthroughT1D again to host a Family Day for those living with Type 1 diabetes on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, at the Los Angeles Zoo! Join us from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for a day filled with fun and connection.

This event provides a wonderful opportunity for children living with Type 1 diabetes (T1D) to meet and interact with peers in a supportive environment. Here’s the schedule for the day:

• 9:15 AM - 9:30 AM: Check-in
• 9:45AM: Special Announcement by Zoo
• 10:00 AM: Private Tour
• 12:00 PM: World of Birds Show
• 12:30 PM: Lunch at Zoo Café
• 1:15 PM: Group Games
• 2:00 PM: Families Explore the Zoo
