From 1912 to the present day, a popular filming site, particularly for numerous Westerns. Featuring a grand view of the Stoney Point formation with a backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains.
GARDEN OF THE GODS. Exit the 118 Freeway south on Topanga Canyon Rd. Right on Santa Susana Pass Rd. to Right on Red Mesa Rd. This is the terminus of the Santa Susanna Mt. chain in Chatsworth. Street parking only. No restrooms. Moderate trails to fantastic views of the San Fernando Valley.
