Nash Bellows' digital collages called ‘Dreamscapes’ are made from photographs gleaned from the internet and her own imagery. Her fantastical landscapes represent places you’d see in a dream—lost memories merging spaces that could never exist together in the waking world. Her pieces redefine the boundaries of visual storytelling in the digital realm through meticulous curation of photography and digital elements.
Guided by a passion for experimentation and a love for the fantastical surreal, Bellows’ collages challenge conventional artistic norms in landscape and narrative, offering a kaleidoscopic journey into the intersection of technology and the limitless possibilities inherent in the digital medium, where pixels transcend the confines of traditional artistic expression.
The digital collages in Lore From The Forest Floor contain flora and fauna collected and captured by the artist, including flowers and mushrooms from Lauritzen Gardens!
Bellows asks the viewer to consider worlds beyond their own, but on a smaller scale. Each piece offers a unique visual journey, intriguing visitors to experience nature through a lens of whimsical story telling and rich visual details.
