Lord Provost’s Mòd Ghlaschu Concert to Celebrate Gaelic Culture and Glasgow 850
Glasgow City Chambers will come alive with the sound of Gaelic music and song on Thursday, 30 October at 6pm, as the Lord Provost’s Mòd Ghlaschu Concert welcomes audiences to a free evening of cultural celebration.
Hosted by the Lord Provost of Glasgow, this special concert is part of the Glasgow 850 programme marking the city’s 850th anniversary and also marks the countdown to one year to go until the Royal National Mòd returns to Glasgow, in 2026.
The concert, curated by Royal National Mòd organisers, An Comunn Gàidhealach and featuring performances from local choirs and soloists showcases the richness of Gaelic language and music.
