About this Event
Join us for a month-long exhibition of the work of legendary photographer Henri Dauman, organized exclusively through KP Projects Gallery, Los Angeles, and the Henri Dauman Photo Archive directed by Brigitte Dauman-Suerez.
According to TIME magazine, Dauman created “photos that play like a slideshow of some of the biggest moments in American history and popular culture.” From film siren Marilyn Monroe, Pop icon Andy Warhol, writers Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams, musicians Elvis Presley, Miles Davis and Philip Glass to legendary film directors Federico Fellini and Jean-Luc Godard, Dauman's images capture powerful cultural and social moments that serve as living testimony to 20th Century American culture.
Looking up: The Photographs of Henri Dauman is made possible through the generous support of David M. Adler.
