Let's give thanks, Longview!We need your donations and helping hands as we compile 1,000+ Thanksgiving food boxes for needy families in our community.
There are four easy ways to be involved:
1. Donate money so we can buy essential items. You can do this by check or online at LongviewThanksgiving.com
2. Make a donation at Longview Super 1 or Brookshires locations. There you can give a cash donation or buy a pre-made Thanksgiving bag of items.
3. Bring canned goods to Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Complex, 100 Grand Blvd., on the Monday before Thanksgiving between 9 a.m. – Noon. This year, that is Monday, November 25, 2024.
4. Volunteer! Host a food drive with your organization or help us sort the donations. Learn more at LongviewThanksgiving.com/Volunteer.
Items we need:
Green Beans
Corn
Green Peas
Miscellaneous Peas or Beans
Soups
Pasta
Canned Meat
Dessert (Please include icing if providing cake mix)
Jello
Cranberry Sauce
Bread
Canned Fruit
Miscellaneous Vegetables
Kool-aid, Lemonade, etc.
