The Night Shift powers on March 15th as LA's techno powerhouse Shay De Castro takes control! After a canceled flight derailed her highly anticipated debut last fall, we're thrilled to finally get her in the Cobra booth. Fresh off her 'Laserbeam Propaganda' EP on Mau5trap supported by industry giants, she's set to unleash her signature brand of peak-time techno.
Getting the room pumping for her performance will be SinnerSaints making his Longturn debut and Polterheist back in the booth for us. Looking forward to finally making this pounding techno show happen in the Cobra void system.

Hailing from a city with not one electronic music club to speak of, Shay De Castro has beat all odds to become one of the most thrilling techno talents from the North America in the last decade. Cutting her teeth on Mexico’s thriving underground, the US-based powerhouse evokes thrills from the grittiest warehouses to the biggest clubs in the world. Her talents have garnered key support from every corner of the dance music spectrum, from Amelie Lens, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, ANNA, Nicole Moudaber, and many more all endorsing the young artist’s productions.
Packed with a club-ready vibe that radiates vibrant energy, Shay’s success was fast-tracked when Factory 93 signed her track, ‘Rapture’ to their MODULE compilation early 2023. This debut soon led to a follow-up single, ‘Memento’, proved to be one of her biggest-selling tracks and was added to the ‘Best of Factory 2023’ compilation alongside artists like Space 92, Nicole Moudaber, Jay Lumen, POPOF, and many other techno giants. Followed up by a chart-topping release on mau5trap, she manages to straddle the line between the underground and commercial, seemingly without trying.
On the back of an ever-expanding accomplishment list, Shay has been managing a busy tour schedule. She made her first appearance at the legendary Sisyphos Berlin, played Beyond Wonderland alongside the biggest artists in techno, and joined Eli Brown on 4 sold-out tour dates throughout the West Coast. 2024 will kick off with her headlining various dates in the the Americas and Europe, including more appearances on Factory 93 and mau5trap.
Named by Beatport’s Beatportal as ‘techno’s new queen’, the world will only be seeing more of De Castro in the near future.

In the era when America's Rust Belt got its name, factory workers labored on a 12-hour day or night shift for two weeks straight. To switch shifts, one group would have to work 24-hours straight and cover the labor gap. This grueling shift became known as the Longturn.
Longturn music was founded to give people with day jobs a space to spend their second shift. No bottle service, no passwords, just a dance floor filled with good people and good music.
