Join us at the Moorland Discovery Centre to hear about Longshaw's First World War history, from the medicinal uses of sphagnum moss collected up on the moors, to the stories of the nurses and soldiers who stayed at Longshaw. Light refreshments are included in the ticket price.
Please Note:
- The talk takes place at the Moorland Discovery Centre, adjacent to the main Woodcroft car park.
- There is a sloping path to the centre, with a hand rail. There are accessible parking bays and an accessible toilet.
- Not suitable for children under 12 years.
- Sorry no dogs.
