About this Event

Curious about entrepreneurship, starting a business, or want to build entrepreneurship skills? The Longo Family Be Your Own Boss (BYOB) is a 7-week, in-person program designed to help you evaluate ideas and turn them into successful businesses. You’ll learn to identify problems, understand your audience, and explore what makes a business viable. Whether you’re exploring entrepreneurship or eager to start your own business, Longo Family BYOB prepares you to create real business opportunities.

Participants will also have the chance to compete for a share of $40,000 in funding to bring their ideas to life. To be eligible for the final pitch competition, participants must attend at least five of the seven sessions.

The Longo Family BYOB program runs in person at Humber College Lakeshore Campus from September 25 to November 6, 2025, with sessions held every Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
