In 2020, Kate began a body of work, around Seattle, using neutral density filters. Finding landscapes and architectural elements she found joy in the slow, meditative process of Long Exposure Photography.

In this 2-part series, Kate will discuss the creative process of capturing longer exposures, from theory to settings to gear. She will also lead a small, in-person outing to help you learn to capture long-exposure images in the field.

These techniques are a great way to create cityscapes, landscapes, or architectural images that stand out from the crowd.
