This Cook-off came to life in 2005 with only 4 teams and since then we have grown. All activities are free to the public; we have kid’s games, vendors & great food. You are guaranteed to find something for all ages at the Lone Star Cook-off!
The Lone Star Cook-off has handed out over $100 thousand dollars in scholarships to deserving graduating seniors of Deer Park High School. That is the main function of this cook-off, to assist seniors with monetary support for college and to support the La Porte FFA.
The rules and requirements for participation in this Cook-off have been provided in our registration packet. These forms can be found and printed on our Web site at Lonestarcookoff.net
