Travel & Parking
Please note Terminal Car Park 2 is currently closed.
We have reserved 250 FREE spaces in Terminal Car Park 1 for the event. If capacity in Terminal Car Park 1 is reached, there are spaces available in our Mid Stay Car Park, located just a short walk from the terminal building.
When you return landside to exit the event, you will be given a car park exit barrier ticket, which will enable you to exit the car park for FREE.
We would like to encourage you to use public transport and car share where possible. More information can be found on LLA website: How To Get To & From London Luton Airport.
On Arrival
On arrival, please head to the check-in area in order to collect your airport security pass to access the departures lounge. The check-in area will open at 8.30 pm for the event.
To obtain the security pass you will need to:
- show a paper or digital version of your Eventbrite ticket
- must have registered and bring a valid form of ID to access the event (a valid passport or a driving licence will be accepted)
- all airport pass holders must also register for a ticket to gain entry to the event
Please note - NO valid ID, NO entry, NO exceptions!
Your pass, once issued will enable you to head to the departure lounge. Please note all attendees will go through normal airport security screening, hand luggage sized bags only are permitted. All rules around liquids/hazardous items apply.
Once you have a pass, please avoid crowding the security gates until we open the event, passengers will need to be able to get through without obstruction.
Charity Support
The event is FREE for all to attend, however we would like to encourage you to kindly contribute to our fundraising efforts.
We are requesting all attending guests to donate £2 per person - proceeds will go to East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Luton Food Bank.
Event Timings
Check-in opens from 8:30 pm.
Due to the fact that LLA is fully operational on the day, the earliest time we willbe able to start the shopping is 9:30 pm. Once checken-in, you will be able to enjoy a coffee in our arrivals area whilst you wait!
To "open" the event, we will need to wait for final call on the last departing flight and then receive permission from security for all VIP shoppers to enter the departures area. If there are flight delays, this may impact the time the shopping event starts. Please be patient if this is the case. Thank you.
Check-in and last entry close at 11:30 pm.
Next Event
If you are unable to attend the event on Thursday 28th November, please look out for notification promoting our second Christmas Shoping Night which will take place on Thursday 5th Dec 2024. Tickets for this event will go live next week.
FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
YES! Due to the event being held airside you will need valid photo ID. Passport or driving licence are accepted. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
What are my transport options for getting to and from the event?
Luton airport parkway station is nearby (Thameslink services and EMR) and there is a shuttle bus that can take you to the airport for a small charge.
The airport is also serviced by:
• Arriva (Stevenage/Hitchin/Dunstable/ Luton)
• National express (London, Cambridge, Nottingham, Stansted, Heathrow routes),
• Greenline
• Stagecoach buses (Milton Keynes)
If you arrange a taxi - they can pick up/drop off in the mid stay car park or the new terminal express drop off zone.
What's the refund policy?
No refund or exchange, statutory rights remain unaffected. Enre is FREE.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, please show your ticket at check-in - printed out or on your smartphone.
Please note we will be checking invites off against a guestlist so there is no duplication.
Can I update my registration information?
You can cancel tickets and rebook through Eventbrite.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
The tickets are FREE and not transferable.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
It will need to match to be granted access to the event. No ticket and ID, No access.
