Originally from the city of San Jose Del Monte Bulacan in The Philippines, Paolo Radam moved to Canada at age 15. At age 17, he started his musical studies with bass clarinet, but soon after found his true passion and switched to saxophone a year later. Paolo is currently finishing his last semester at the University of Western Ontario, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Music with Honours in Education under the guidance of Dr. Bobbi Thompson and Barry Usher. He is an active musician in campus ensembles, playing for the Western Jazz Ensemble under Dr. Kevin Watson, and currently serves as the artistic director for the Western Chamber Music Big Band. In previous years, he has worked with the Western University Jazz Combo and played with distinguished artist Rodney Whitaker. In his spare time, Paolo likes to play video games such as Marvel Rivals, Terraria, And Stardew Valley.The Paolo Radam Quintet consists of university students and local musicians.

Bio: The Jazz Collective is a London Ontario-based jazz group featuring Chris Alcantara (trumpet/flugelhorn), Don Di Carlo (piano), Joe Phillips (bass) and Jeff Floyd (drums). They play every third Monday at The Richmond Tavern from 8pm to 10pm. The band focuses on music that encourages collective and risk taking improvisation. For this performance, they will be joined by special guest trombonist, Robin Jessome, playing the music of the Clark Terry-Bob Brookmeyer Quintet.
