About this Event
London Historians members and their families are invited to our Inaugural Summer Picnic. Fulham Palace have graciously agreed to host us in their spectacular grounds where we'll enjoy an afternoon of shocking culinary indulgence and, most importantly: friendship.
Bring your own food, drinks, blanket etc.
Hearty thanks to our good friends at Fortnum & Mason who will be donating a scotch egg for every one of us! Did you know that in 1738 Fortnums invented the scotch egg as a traveller's snack, now a staple of their world famous hampers? Of course, our government recently upgraded this humble comestible to a 'substantial meal'. Hoorah!
The very much not compulsory theme is 'Edwardian'. Stripy blazers, straw hats, all of that. But do please yourself.
Fulham Palace have asked that we make a small donation towards their upkeep. Very happy to do that, so we've priced donations at £5 for adults, free for offspring under 18. See tickets.
