The single ‘1956’ is about the Hungarian uprising against Russian occupying forces, Budapest 1956. Sarah Bedak, Lolo Lovina’s front woman’s family originate from Budapest and the event was pivotal in her and her ancestors lives
The track was recorded in Koblenz, Germany during Lolo Lovina’s last European tour and features luminous Sinti guitarist Lulo Reinhardt and Australian / German virtuosic violinist Daniel Weltlinger.

Lolo Lovina (‘Red Beer’ in Romanes) are an intoxicating brew infused with Unza, Swing and Balkan Gypsy beats. Created & fronted by Romani- Gypsy singer Sarah Bedak. ‘Lolo Lovina`s music reflects the cosmopolitan identity of an artist, who grew up with three native cultures. The charming and passionate performance of their charismatic singer makes each concert a unique experience. Lolo Lovina have played at the Opera House Sydney, Havana World Music Festival in Cuba, Guca Festival Serbia, through the Pacific Islands, Macau China, across East & West Europe and at SXSW, Austin Texas.
