We’ll start on the Atlantic coast with the crisp, sea-breeze snap of Muscadet and follow the river inland through some of the Loire’s most iconic styles and grapes. Expect Chenin Blanc, earthy and elegant Cabernet Franc, zippy Sauvignon Blanc, and even a little Pinot Noir. Along the way, we’ll break down the region’s key appellations, talk producers, and connect the dots between place, grape, and style. Nicole's passion for wine was ignited during a transformative trip to Napa Valley in 2014, where she was captivated by the stories behind the vineyards and the people who bring them to life. Determined to share this world with others, she founded Grape Chic in late 2017, a blog and social media platform dedicated to making wine approachable, enjoyable, and relatable. Through Grape Chic, Nicole has partnered with esteemed wine brands and regions, traveling extensively to introduce her audience to the unique places and faces of the wine world. In addition to her work on Grape Chic, Nicole is a seasoned private client wine consultant, offering personalized guidance to wine enthusiasts and collectors, Wine Director at the new Tourmaline restaurant in Forest Hills, and an instructor at the Sommelier Society of America. Her expertise is further validated by her WSET Level 4 Diploma, her distinction as a French Wine Scholar with highest honors, and her contributions to leading wine publications like The Vintner Project, Honest Cooking Magazine, and Decanter.
