The evening features the lighting of a bonfire at sunset, around which family and friends gather to sing, dance, and express gratitude by offering sesame seeds, sugar-candy, and sweets to the flames. This ritual serves as a gesture of respect to the Sun God, seeking continued protection and blessings.
