Besser Museum's annual Log Cabin Day event is Saturday, June 29, 12pm - 4pm. General admission is $5 adults, $3 seniors, $3 children, and Besser Museum Members are free. Planetarium shows are $1.00 per person. The historic buildings will be open for tours, along with guided tours aboard the 1928 Katherine V commerical fish tug and the retired DNR Chinook Researh Vessel.

* Rope Making, Soft Axe Throwing, Lego Race Car Building lead by Scouting America Troop 92 and Cub Scouting America Troop 3092
* Quilting Demos hosted by members of Gone To Pieces Quilt Guild
*Spinning and Weaving demos hosted by members of the Thunder Bay Spinners and Weavers
*Blacksmith and metal work demostrations
*Sturgeon for Tomorrow eductional booth
*Huron Pines education booth on invasive species
*Strawberry Sundae Social
*Food Wagon - Liv's Food Shack
*Dunk-Tank Fundraiser. Come Dunk Brad Somers, Director of Boys and Girls Club 12:00 - 1:00; Come Dunk Griffin James, from Cedar and Threads 1:00 - 2:00; Come Dunk Fireman Andy Marceau, from Alpena City Fire Department 2:00 - 3:00. $1 a throw or 6 throws for $5.
