About this Event
Loft out Loud is a Birmingham based Standup Comedy group consisting of Birmingham Comedy mainstays; Alice Wheatley, Paige McBride, Noa Helmandottar, and Mario Carreras. The show started as a grass roots show hosted out of Mario's loft. We featured musicians, magicians, comedians over the course of the show run in Mario's loft. As the show has grown, we're excited to now be hosting our show at the wonderful Woodlawn Theater.
The Woodlawn Theatre is located in the space of the original Woodlawn Family Theatre, a neighborhood cinema in operation from 1929-1957, and brings art deco and mid century design in contrast with a moody rock and roll club. With a heart for the music scene and passion for the Woodlawn neighborhood, the Theatre looks forward to introducing up and coming talent to Birmingham. Offering a full service bar in a beautiful venue, catch a new favorite band while catching up with friends.
Created in 1929, reestablished in 2019, opened in 2023.
