In a crowded Florida Hip-Hop scene, Loe Shimmy has been putting on for his city while actively
setting himself apart from his contemporaries through his strained delivery, charismatic raps,
and expressive incorporation of melodies into his otherwise grimy sound. Coming off his
breakthrough year in 2024—which included a tour alongside Sexyy Red and Hunxho, and
wrapped with the release of his sixth albumNardy World and first Billboard-charting single “For
Me” (feat.Brent Faiyaz)—Shimmy has been continuing his hot streak.
His newest album, Rockstar Junkie, has been performing incredibly well, fueled in part by the
growing buzz around the standout track “3am” featuring Don Toliver, which has gained serious
traction online.
With critical acclaim from major publications The FADER, Pitchfork, Passion of the Weiss, and
others, Loe Shimmy is in the midst of a major come-up. He was just named to the XXL’s 2025
Freshman Class and is actively transitioning from local star to global name—thanks to a truly
