This event is for Shift Two (2), from 12 pm to 3 pm.
Since 2014, Locker #505 has provided over 12,000 students with the confidence and security needed to excel in their education. Sustained through donations from the Albuquerque community, locker #505 follows a student-centered model to provide each student with a kind, respectful experience.
Locker #505 works year-round to keep operations running smoothly, but closes during the summer to handle donations and prepare for students in the new academic year.
Albuquerque Involved, to celebrate the back-to-school season, will be holding a sorting marathon in two shifts on August 16th, 2025, from 9 AM to 3 PM. The event will be split into two shifts.
Volunteers will be responsible for examining and sorting donations ranging from clothes to books and toys. This event is predominantly done standing, so comfortable shoes are strongly recommended!
