Take part in a free paddling event on the Lachine Canal with dozens of colorful canoes and kayaks, before experiencing a lockage 🚣♂️Come and have fun surrounded by the sounds of music and laughter, in the company of new friends and family. Let's celebrate the 200th anniversary of the canal together! 🎉
No need to register! Just show up at one of the welcome points with your boat.
⚠️ For safety reasons, paddleboards are not allowed in the locks, mainly due to the risk of capsizing caused by turbulence during lock operations. However, they are permitted at all times on the waterway. Participants who wish to join the event on a paddleboard are welcome, but they will not be able to enter the lock or appear in the photo.
