LOCI includes emerging voices from within the individual Eastside and Westside artistic communities for a combined exhibition over distance that transcends locale and neighborhood.LOCI opens January 16 at Locust Street Art (January 9 at BICA).
Reception parties are held at respective sites from 5-8 pm on each opening night.
LOCI @ Locust Street is on view 1/16/26 - 1/30/26.
This exhibit was collaboratively juried by Emma Brittain, Director of Locust Street Art; Emily Reynolds, Director and Co-Founder of The Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art and Tami Fuller, President of the Buffalo Society of Artists.

The curatorial team worked together to make selections for cross-city exhibition within each venue to represent community identity, cooperation and connection through the arts. Some artists are represented at both locations, based on the curation of their individual works, so come to both and look for your favorites!
