Texas Health Community Hope is planting the seeds for a healthier community by creating opportunities to learn directly from local urban farmers. The“Locally Grown Farm Experience' series will feature hands-on activities at local farms around Dallas-Fort Worth.
Farm Experience with Mind Your Garden: Farm to Table with the Family
Saturday, June 22, 2024 | 9- 11am
Join us for an afternoon "on the farm" and learn from urban farmers firsthand, gain tips, and discover how we all can support local farmers in their efforts to enhance community well-being. Bring the family to the Farm Experience with Mind Your Garden on June 22 to have a blast while you learn to pick, prepare and eat what's growing on the farm! Get your hands dirty and let the little ones run around. You'll take home some goodies that can help you dig in at home. This event is family friendly and Habla Espanol.
There is no fee to participate, however advanced registration is required and spaces are limited. Registration is open until June 21 or until the class is filled.
