He opened up to many punk rock bands in the 80s, and it was there that he garnered respect and notoriety. Dwight is mainly known for his Bakersfield, country, and rock style. You won't find many people who don't like Dwight. His unique voice and style appeal to a wide variety of music lovers. This is why Local Yoakam has kept the attention of many local venues.
