About this Event
Where was Ottawa's "first" Chinatown?
Which LeBreton Flats business was the first place in the city to use electric lighting?
What apple tree varieties were first cultivated at the Dominion Arboretum?
The Dalhousie Community Association is happy to facilitate a talk by local sociologist Tonya Davidson about her new book, Ottawology, followed by a neighbourhood trivia game!
Friendly neighbours, prizes, drinks, BOOKS!
Books, of Tonya's and otherwise, will be on site for sale provided by Octopus Books.
Event will be appropriately hosted at Natural History (the bar) at 835 Somerset Street W.
Doors will open at 4pm, with scheduled events wrapping up around 6pm. At that time the event space will return to a bar proper and attendees are welcome to stay or go as they please.
