About this Event
“LOCAL PROPHETS: A Play of Near Collisions” is a short absurd drama about two trans friends at the Vermont/Beverly bus stop during ungodly hours. Venus, a witchy t-girl with a mild savior complex, and Angel, a headstrong enby punk, are always on the move: to concerts, job interviews, and places that used to feel liked home. As their warring perspectives on spirituality clash, the intersection becomes both literal and metaphorical space where bodies, desires, and destinies almost— but never quite— collide. Conceived by Azad Namazie with Blaire Battle.
