Join Ana Mexia and Kimberly Lisi to explore the medicines, spirits, and physical properties of the sacred plants that are local to our region. The intention behind this series is to weave threads of connection with the plant spirits that surround us. We’re creating rituals and practices to commune with these plant spirits in our everyday lives and feel their support, as this is what the spirits of these plants want.
February’s plant is Rose- a versatile flower of love, protection, and healing. In this gathering, we will explore the history of the rose, its indigenous and local roots, and the ways in which we can connect with its spiritual and physical properties to enhance our daily lives. We will indulge in a Tea Ceremony, Rose Ritual, and Sound Meditation to connect directly with the spirit of Rose and conclude with a sharing circle.
