About this Event
Jodie Evans is the co-founder of CODEPINK, a long-standing women-led peace and justice organization dedicated to ending war, exposing militarism, and building a world rooted in compassion and cooperation. For over 20 years, Jodie has been a leading voice in grassroots organizing, intersectional movements, and creative strategies for peace. Her work spans global diplomacy, environmental justice, feminist activism, and community-based solutions to the crises we face today.
In recent years, Jodie has focused deeply on the Local Peace Economy - a framework that invites communities to shift away from extraction, violence, and fear, and instead cultivate systems based on care, connection, and shared well-being. She has developed an accessible Local Peace Economy Workbook, designed as a hands-on guide for neighborhoods, activists, and everyday people to re-imagine what it looks like to thrive together. Join us in community to discuss and work through the lessons of the workbook - with Jodie!
