In this class you will learn about how to work with local producers to purchase an animal and then how to work with the butcher shop to get the cuts of meat you want. You will learn about how much meat to expect to get back, whole sale and retail cuts of meat, and how much freezer space you need for the size of animal you are getting processed. We will be covering beef, pork, lamb and goat. Please pre-register with the extension office 419-947-1070.
