2025 Local History Class at ECC (22nd Year)
The Annual Local History Class at East Central College (ECC) is celebrating its 22nd year! This engaging community class is open to all ages and explores a variety of fascinating topics related to the history of Franklin County. Many attendees return year after year to enjoy the ever-changing content. Sue Blesi, founder and organizer, along with Suzanne Pautler, coordinator, are thrilled about the amazing speaker lineup for the 2025 class.
Class Details:
Start Date: Thursday, March 6, 2025
Duration: 8 weeks (no class on March 20 due to Spring Break)
End Date: Thursday, May 1, 2025
Schedule: Two presentations each evening at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

East Central College Training Center

The building is one-story, handicap-accessible, and features a level parking lot. From the main campus, drive straight across until you reach a “T” in the road, then turn left. The registration table will be located just inside the door.
Cost:
Full Course: $65 (in-person or Zoom attendance)
Single Class: $15 per session (payable at the door)
How to Enroll:
The easiest way to enroll and pay is online at https://register.eastcentral.edu/ce. While in-person registration will be available at the first class, registering online is recommended as volunteers at the registration table will be busy on the first evening.
Additional Information:
Proceeds from the class will be donated to the Four Rivers Genealogical Society.
Books and other items from speakers and historical societies will be available for purchase during the class.
