Want to delve into local history? Join us at the Tuscarawas County Public Library System's Main Library in New Philadelphia for a day to explore local history and genealogy resources. Participants will be able to visit informational booths from state and local historical organizations, state and county genealogical societies, and tables with local history authors and museums. There will be demonstrations of the Library’s Preservation Station, microfilm machine, and genealogy databases. Library genealogy specialists will be on site to provide mini Book-a-Genealogist sessions. Participants can take a self-guided tour of the Library’s local history and genealogy collections and attend a presentation about the history of one of our county’s local gems - Tuscora Park.
You won't want to miss it on October 11th from 11:00AM - 3:00PM!
