Local Authors Expo 2025

Join us on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Birmingham Public Library – Central Location for the Local Author Expo! This year's theme, "From Local to Global," celebrates the power of storytelling and its ability to connect communities both near and far. You'll have the opportunity to meet Alabama authors, explore a variety of books, and hear insights from keynote speaker Jim Reed, owner of Jim Reed Books. Firehouse Subs will provide lunch for registrants, so please complete the lunch questionnaire during registration.

Registration Details:

• General Author Registration Fee: $25 — Required for all participating authors
• Author Spotlight Opportunity: $10 — Limited to 5 registered authors
• Book Synopsis Slot: $10 — Limited to 5 registered authors (5-minute presentation each)
