In Carnivorous Plants for Kids, you will learn the basics for growing healthy and happy carnivorous (insect-eating) plants at home: Venus flytraps, pitcher plants, sundews, and butterworts. Plus, you will learn how to increase your collection over time. Includes over 65 full-color photos. Suggested age range for this book is 4-8, but could be helpful to any carnivorous plant newcomers. A Life with Carnivorous Plants will also be available for older readers who want more detailed information.

Victor Rook has produced several award-winning films and has written several books. His nature film, Beyond the Garden Gate, aired on PBS for four years and won two Telly awards. His 2019 documentary, Who's Protecting Our National Bird?, won the grand prize for the RVA Environmental Film Festival. As well as the two books on carnivorous plants, his titles include The Ghosts of Culpeper Antiques, In Search of Good Times, and the satirical best seller, People Who Need to Die.
