Local Author Presentation: Tales from a Rogue RangerSaturday, September 6, 2 p.m.
Ranger Rosanne S. McHenry AKA Ranger Rose will present a selection of her stories about life outdoors Saturday, September 6, at 2 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room. McHenry is a local author who has written two award-winning books about her life as a park ranger. Her latest book: Tales From a Rogue Ranger, is an humorous account chronicling her escapades at Folsom Lake and Auburn State Recreation Area. Copies of her books will be available for sale following the presentation.
Rosanne S. McHenry has worked as a National Park Ranger and a California State Park Ranger in many different locations over the years, including the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Mount Rainier National Park, Auburn State Recreation Area, and Folsom Lake State Recreation Area.
