Author Jenny Newman has lived on the Wirral for forty years. During that time she has taught at Edge Hill University, Liverpool University and, most recently, at Liverpool John Moores University, where she was Head of Creative Writing. Her latest novel, In the Blood, is a fizzingly fresh exploration of class and the impact of World War 2 on children and adults alike.
