Since 2018, we have proudly hosted a book nook of KC Local and Indie Authors in our coffeehouse. All summer, we have been hosting small author readings and meet and greets every month. The big event for our authors of the year is THIS BOOK FESTIVAL!
We will have all our books displayed (inside and outside), with several attending authors. Come support our local authors.
Downtown Parkville will also be hosting the Strawberry Swing Festival on this same day. Grab a book, a coffee, and then head to the Strawberry Swing in the city lot!
As the event gets closer, we will post more details regarding swag bags and giveaways.

The book festival we hold in September is our big event to showcase the authors that sell on consignment here at the shop.
We sell books year around and coordinate doing summer reading events. The very final event of the year (after our summer readings) is this Book Festival in Sept. It is not a one-time event that authors can apply for, but rather they are a part of it because they sell on the shelves. 🙂
