The Loc Den 2 Natural Hair Salon is hosting private (small group) Loctician Training Workshops in Missouri City (Greater Houston Area) on June 23rd and June 24th, 2024 from 10 AM to 3 PM!
Experience hands on lessons with Master Loctician Shenate’ Lamar (Owner of The Loc Den salons) working with high-quality 4C Afro Kinky Mannequin Heads & dreadlock models to cultivate and improve your valuable dreadlock practitioner skills!

Our private workshops are limited in size to ensure each student receives quality training attention.
Day 1 (Sun. June 23rd, 2024) features the Beginner & Intermediate Level Workshop.
Beginner Workshop Includes:
- Starter Locs with comb coils, two Strand Twists, Braid Locs & interlocking.
- Loc maintenance with palm roll, interlocking & care to ensure clients hair is healthy and growing.
- Basic styling (cornrows, fishtail styles, & up-dos).
Intermediate Workshop Includes: - Braiding Locs and interlocking maintenance
- Advanced styling techniques
- Two and three in one styling
- Repairs and reconstruction
- Wrapped Loc Extensions with Human Hair
Day 2 (Monday June 24th, 2024) features the Advanced Level Workshop.
Advanced Level Workshop Includes: - All Crochet services on Kinky, Curly, & Straight hair textures
- Instant Loc Cultivation
- Crochet Loc Extensions
- Repairs on all textures

Each Workshop Day is a total of 5 hours of official training, with additional time for practice and questions following the formal instruction session.
