Please join Left of Center Art Gallery and the Black Mountain Institute for a series of three free poetry workshops at the Gallery! All levels of experience are welcome in each "ekphrastic" poetry workshop -- poetry written in response to visual art.A different instructor will facilitate each workshop, utilizing Left of Center's art collections to help inspire your original poems. These instructors are Master of Fine Arts candidates at UNLV's prestigious creative writing program. They will lead you through exercises and conversation to help you compose original poems.
Saturday, Sept 14 (1 - 3 PM) - led by JM Huck

Saturday, Nov 16 (1 - 3 PM) - led by Lauren Gleave
