I question—in a world where femininity has become increasingly undesirable, where womanhood is stretched between masculinization and the commodification of the body as an object or currency—where do we stand?
I stitch, round after round, using bold lines to draw maps that restore form, guiding me toward a deep, intrinsic feminine energy—beyond stereotype, toward archetype. My fingers bleed as I persist, moving in circles, going deeper—reconnecting with the whispers of nature, the rhythm of the moon cycle. In search of archetypes.
At times, drops of blood stain white cloth, leaving imprints that guide me—activating lines of energy, revealing the world’s great need for feminine force. I stitch the tides of the moon and the tides of womanhood, allowing each aspect of our multifaceted souls to surface—wild and whole again. The mother, the creator, the wizard, the shapeshifter, the inventor, the magician, the artist, the she-wolf, the healer, the life-giver.
We bring life into this world. We raise men and shape their understanding of love, existence, and power. We hold the potential for both peace and war.
I am here to experience, to trace in white both the lushness and discomfort of embodiment—the quest to revive forgotten archetypes. I sculpt in textile, illustrating layers of embodiment and disembodiment, seeking the feminine energy that heals. What would happen if we all focused, if we all activated it at once?
I ask—give me your hair and let us braid a wish together. Tap into the inner watcher, the knower, the visionary—who guides, who suggests, who breathes vibrant life into both the inner and outer world.
This series of works calls upon ancient aspects of womanhood—on the powers of women as seen across time and space. I call to animate these archetypes—from memory to form, and from form to action. When women reclaim their connection to authentic nature, vibrant life emerges. The two-dimensional becomes multidimensional; the "I" becomes "we," the archetype comes alive—both embodied and cosmic.
