Join Latino Outdoors and Base Medical for an overview of wilderness emergency and rock climbing afterward.
7:00-8:00pm When something goes wrong: how to respond to a wilderness emergency: Adventures in the outdoors come with risk, and being prepared can save a life. From activating help to stabilizing life-threatening injuries, waiting for rescue, and knowing what to carry, this short but impactful hands-on workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills to handle the critical first moments of a wilderness emergency. Presented by Base Medical CEO and NMSAR responder, Teal Figueroa Harbin.
8:00-9:00pm- Free climb with the group. admission provided.
