Join LO Los Angeles for a Fall Equinox gathering to come back to yourself, to Mother Earth, & Release What No Longer Serves You.
About this Event

Join Latino Outdoors Los Angeles for a Fall Equinox gathering at the beach. We’ll come together in comunidad to come back to ourselves, to Mother Earth, and release what no longer serves you. We’ll do this by connecting to the land/Madre Tierra, engage our senses, align with the Fall energias, journaling through a releasing ritual, sharing/talking circles, and an opening and closing ceremony.

Bring a yoga mat or something to sit on for your own comfort. Participants will receive a FREE Fall Equinox Journal provided by Michelle of Mariposa Ancestral Practices. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

**Please note this gathering is intended for BIWOC & Two-Spirit/Non-Binary folks**

Due to the slow and meditative nature of this practice it is not recommended for children 12 and younger.

Space is limited. Registration is required.

Location: Bluff Park, Long Beach, CA 90803 We will gather at Ocean Blvd and Loma Ave on the bluff before walking together to the beach.

We’ll be joined by Michelle Mojica of Mariposa Ancestral Practices. Michelle is a first generation, detribalized, Xicana-Indigena living on Tongva Land (South Bay), a LCSW with 13 years of experience working with BIPOC & QTPOC folks leading/ facilitating workshops, ceremonies, presentations and classes on ancestral-indigenous rituals and practices.

LO-LA Outings Leader, Sylvia Arredondo is a certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide with ANFT, CPR and Wilderness First Aid Certified, and holds over a decade of experience working with, leading and facilitating workshops, trainings, and presentations for BIPOC communities on environmental justice and civic engagement.
