Join LO Fresno on a bird watching hike in China Creek Park! We will be joined by former Fresno Audubon President Rachel Clark.About this Event
We will be taking a easy stroll through China Creek Park. The trails are unpaved but are generally flat. Trails are family friendly.
Here are a few things to consider bringing:
- Water
- Snacks
- Closed toed shoes
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent
- Binoculars (some will be provided if you do not have any)
- Bird guide ( I will bring mine for folks to borrow)
As with any park, be aware of your surroundings as there are wild animals in these parks. The best way to avoid this is to stay on the trails.
Important information: since parking is limited at the trailhead, we will meet at the park and ride in Fowler and carpool from there. If you do not want to carpool, you can head straight there but be aware that parking might be limited.
